They say this place is the best East Side secret, but it's not a secret anymore! I fell in love with this place for their ice cream selection and have since tried many things - all of which I've liked. Their fried pickles are to die for. Their hot dogs, burgers, and fries are all good. I tried their Tenderloin today and know I'll be back for more. The crispy outside and tender inside was perfect. I say it's not a secret anymore because you will see cars lined to the street after a hot day. The line goes quickly, but there's a reason why there's a line!

I just really like it! I used to live within walking distance but now I'm out of town. I literally came into des Moines today just to go here. I live near Boone.

Similar to Dairy Queen in terms of menu but with a few more things like fried pickles and cheese curds. Food was good, ice cream was great.

Yum! I had a small cherry dipped cone and it was really good and actually a pretty good sized cone for being a small. I went through the drive through and the service was fast and friendly. There are many options on the menu and even hot food. I will have to come back to try something else and sit outside in their outdoor seating area.

This is one GOOD ICE CREAM. Just wish the parking was more to it. They do have a drive through and out door sitting. There is no indoor dining. The employees are very nice and service time is good.
